This property sleeps 14 comfortably on a 9-acre private estate with views of the ocean and primary rainforest. It's just a 10-minute walk to the beach down the hill.
This property combines 2 homes. Perfect for vacation rentals, creating retreat spaces, or living out your dream vacation permanently.
You are assured to see dozens of toucans every day in addition to several kinds of monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs, morpho butterflies, hummingbirds, countless varieties of birds, and exotic insects.
Designed as two vacation homes on one property for families and retreats, the property comes fully equipped and can comfortably sleep up to 14 people. There are 5 private bedrooms, each with its own private balcony, large exterior outdoor bathroom, and private garden. There is a large outdoor open style full kitchen, dining area, and wildlife terrace at the main house. All bedrooms come fully furnished with linens and pillows, beach and bathroom towels, clothing hangers, ceiling fans, bedside tables and lamps, and comforters for cool nights. There is also a hidden locked safe where you can protect your valuables.
The main house, Villa Macaw, is separated into 5 units:
Phenix: the main living / social area includes an oversized professional kitchen, dining table for up to 12, and a comfortable lounge that could accommodate up to 4 additional beds. The social area is very open to the environment, there are few walls.
Kinkajoo: the master bedroom is spacious and bright. Master king-size bed, full walk-in closet, and a bathroom suspended into the primary forest with toilet, bidet, his and hers sinks and his and her double showers.
Las Guatusas: the kids’ bedroom when we live there. It sleeps 6 - 2 bunk beds comprised of 2 twins and 2 full-sized beds. The bathroom opens up to the primary forest.
The Macaw: the third guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed and private outdoor bathroom.
Los Mapaches: The laundry and utility rooms in the parking area.
All bedrooms are fully screened, secured with digital door locks, and come with ceiling fans.
The second home, Villa Toucan, has 2 private bedrooms, each with its own private balcony, outdoor bathroom, private garden, a full kitchen, dining area, a wildlife terrace, and a Hammock hut.
Each bedroom has a king which can be converted into two twins, its own private balcony overlooking the rainforest, and large exterior outdoor bathrooms. The floors and cathedral ceilings are made of beautiful local hardwoods.
You are guaranteed to leave this unique and exotic jungle residence fully invigorated and refreshed.
There is an additional casita separated from the main living courters, for additional living or to be used as a caretaker home.
